Design Story: A Silver Bracelet Built on Vine Scrollwork
This men’s silver bracelet starts with a repeating ornament rather than a chain. Pierced panels carved with curling arabesque vines alternate with rectangular panels that hold a single baguette-cut accent stone. The pattern reads like a repeating vine scroll, which is where the Thai-inspired character of the piece comes from.
Because the stone panels and the scroll panels share the same footprint, the whole bracelet reads as one continuous band. Move closer and it separates into bright polished edges, dark oxidised recesses and a single line of colour that appears at regular intervals. From a distance it is graphic; up close it is detailed.
