Design Story: Three Stones in One Clean Line
This blue spinel ring is built around a single idea: one large oval stone, held up by slim prongs, with a smaller pear-shaped stone on each side so the whole head reads as one continuous line across the finger. The centre stone is lab-grown blue cobalt spinel, a deep royal blue that stays saturated in daylight rather than washing out to violet.
The band is deliberately plain. It tapers slightly towards the head, so the three stones sit on the thinnest part of the ring and take the light without competing with engraving, pave or a halo. Because the shank is closed and the profile is low, the ring turns easily on the finger and sits flat under a glove or a sleeve.
The supplier lists the style as a light-commuter ring, and the 2.5 g weight matches that brief: enough metal to feel solid, not enough to feel heavy after a full day of typing, cooking or travelling.
