Design Story — How This S925 Silver Bracelet Is Wound, Three Lines at a Time

Three parallel silver wires, wound by hand around a polished cuff frame, are the soul of this S925 silver bracelet. The pattern borrows from the bangle workshops of Milan — flat, geometric, and clean — but the technique is Guangzhou benchwork: one jeweler, one coil, one bracelet at a time. Each line is a separate sterling silver wire, drawn, wound, and soldered at both ends of the cuff. The result is a layered surface that catches light differently from every angle.

The frame is solid 925 sterling silver, cut into an open C-shape and polished to a soft satin finish. Around it we wind three continuous coils — the middle line rhodium-plated to keep its cool silver tone, the outer two plated in rose gold so the surface reads a gentle two-tone in daylight. No resin was painted on the metal; the color you see is plating only, which is the standard way a precious-metal bracelet is finished in our studio.

This is the bracelet version of our silver bangle workshop’s signature coil — same wire, same bench, but stretched out and softened for daily wrist wear rather than a rigid statement cuff.

Craftsmanship — How the S925 Silver Bracelet Is Made

01Frame Casting

Each cuff frame is cast from certified 925 sterling silver, then stress-relieved and bench-polished to a soft satin finish before any wire is added.

02Three-Line Winding

A bench jeweler winds three parallel 0.6 mm sterling silver wires around the frame by hand, tensioning each coil so the lines stay parallel and tight.

03Two-Tone Plating

The middle wire is rhodium-plated; the outer two wires are plated in 18K rose gold. The plating bath is sealed and rinsed to protect the satin finish.

04Clasp & Hallmark

A push-button box clasp is soldered on, and the 925 hallmark is stamped on the inside of the cuff near the clasp before final polish and inspection.

The Metal Behind the S925 Silver Bracelet

925 sterling silver means 92.5% pure silver alloyed with 7.5% copper for hardness — the international sterling silver standard for jewelry-grade silver. It is harder than pure silver, so the cuff keeps its shape through years of wear, and it takes plating cleanly so the rose gold tone does not flake. We do not use nickel in our alloy, which keeps the bracelet hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.
