Case Study: Sculptural Silver Cuff Bracelet in 925 Sterling Silver

This is a production case study for Handcrafted Silver Cuff Bracelet – 4 Sculptural Styles – a piece MIRAMETAL builds in its own Guangzhou workshop. It documents how the piece is actually made, what a buyer controls before production starts, and how the order moves from a reference to a packed carton.

What this piece has to do

A cuff is a solid piece of metal with no stones and no chain to hide behind. Every surface is visible, including the inside of the curve. The production question is not what it looks like but how it behaves: whether it sits comfortably, whether the ends are finished, and whether the width suits the design.

How MIRAMETAL produces it

Every step below runs in-house – CAD design, mold-making, casting, stone setting, polishing, plating and quality control. Nothing is subcontracted, which is what keeps an approved sample and a bulk run on the same route.

CAD and mold

The cuff is developed in CAD and molded in-house, so a sculptural form does not depend on a stock shape being bent to fit.

Forming

The open cuff is formed in 925 sterling silver to the design’s own width and profile – the four catalogued styles run from 3.7 mm to 15.8 mm – and finished so the cut ends are smooth against the skin.

Polishing

The surface is polished, and the inside of the curve is finished to the same standard as the outside, because those are the surfaces the customer wears.

Inspection

Form, finish, weight and edge quality are checked before packing.

Quality and compliance

ISO 9001 certified workshop, EU REACH and US CPSIA compliant. Every piece is inspected before it is packed: stone security where stones are involved, plating coverage, surface finish and the 925 hallmark. Inspection photos can be provided before dispatch, and the QC record for a batch is kept so a repeat order can be checked against the original approval.

Order terms

MIRAMETAL has been making jewelry in Guangzhou Since 1990 – 30+ years of production – and works with jewelry brands in international markets. Orders start from 1 piece, sampling runs 3-7 days after design approval, and production covers CAD design, mold-making, casting, stone setting, polishing, plating and quality control.

Frequently asked questions

Which cuff designs are available?

Four catalogued styles: floral vine, open blossom, hammered hook and woven wide. Each has its own width and profile.

Is the cuff adjustable?

Yes – it is an open cuff fit, gently adjustable, with design-specific widths from 3.7 mm to 15.8 mm.

Can I develop my own cuff design?

Yes. CAD design and mold-making are in-house, so a sketch or reference image becomes an approved CAD and then a physical sample before production.

What does the price include?

The listed price covers the piece itself in 925 sterling silver, and weight is confirmed against the approved sample.
