This is a production case study for Aquamarine Eternity Ring – 925 Sterling Silver Baguette Band – a piece MIRAMETAL builds in its own Guangzhou workshop. It documents how the piece is actually made, what a buyer controls before production starts, and how the order moves from a reference to a packed carton.
What this piece has to do
An eternity ring is the hardest band to get right in a small run. The stones have to be set around a full circle without the band reading thin between them, and every size in the run has to carry the same stone count and the same light return.

How MIRAMETAL produces it
Every step below runs in-house – CAD design, mold-making, casting, stone setting, polishing, plating and quality control. Nothing is subcontracted, which is what keeps an approved sample and a bulk run on the same route.
Band preparation
The shank is cast in 925 sterling silver and machined to the size run you order, so the stone seats are identical from US size 5 to US size 9 rather than scaled.
Stone setting
The step-cut stones are set one by one around the band, with each stone checked for level before the next is placed – on an eternity ring the tolerance applies to the whole ring.
Size consistency
Because the band and the setting are made in the same workshop, size increments stay consistent instead of drifting the way they do when a band is bought in and sent out for setting.
Inspection
Every size in the run is inspected for stone count, seating height and band roundness before packing.
Quality and compliance
ISO 9001 certified workshop, EU REACH and US CPSIA compliant. Every piece is inspected before it is packed: stone security where stones are involved, plating coverage, surface finish and the 925 hallmark. Inspection photos can be provided before dispatch, and the QC record for a batch is kept so a repeat order can be checked against the original approval.
Order terms
MIRAMETAL has been making jewelry in Guangzhou Since 1990 – 30+ years of production – and works with jewelry brands in international markets. Orders start from 1 piece, sampling runs 3-7 days after design approval, and production covers CAD design, mold-making, casting, stone setting, polishing, plating and quality control.
Frequently asked questions
How is an eternity ring produced in small quantities?
The band is cast and machined in-house, then the stones are set around it on the same line. Nothing is outsourced, so a small run and a large run follow the same route.
What sizes are available?
US sizes 5-9, machined per size so the stone seats are reproduced identically across the run rather than scaled.
Can I order a single ring to test before a bulk order?
Yes. MOQ is 1 piece, and wholesale options start from 10 pieces – many brands order one ring per size to approve the fit and the stone setting before committing.
Are the stones natural aquamarine?
This piece is catalogued with aquamarine-blue step-cut stones. Stone specification and any certification requirement are confirmed in writing before production starts, so a brand that needs natural stones states that in the order.
